RVMC has 4 state of the art endoscopy rooms with an RN and a tech staffing each procedure. Approximately 20 endos are done a day. Endo RNs are expected to take call, one night during the work week (15:30 - 19:00) and one weekend (15:30 - 07:00) every 6 weeks.
Education:Associates Degree in Nursing or above.
License/Certification:Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by American Heart. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified by the American Heart Association. SGNA certification (preferred).
For this position,procedureal sedation experience is required and PALS is preferred.
Experience:Current acute care/ambulatory care/conscious sedation experience (minimum 2080 hours in last 3 years). Charge nurse experience, critical care/ ER experience (preferred). Demonstrates the ability to work under self-direction, leadership and problem solving skills of a complex nature and organizational skills.
Must be willing to take call

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
