40 hrs.
5-day work week (Monday-Saturday) 90-day paid training Medical Insurance Retirement Plan Paid Vacation & Sick days Employee discounts on products and services Monthly/Quarterly product training Responsibilities Provide outstanding service to determine customer's overall flooring & design needs Build strong client relationships and follow up on all jobs.
Schedule design appointments to meet with customers in the showroom & at home Keep up to date on the wide selection of products & services provided Review space/area measurements, calculate number of materials needed, create/present project proposals, and perform quality control throughout project Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications and availability Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean Desired Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years' proven work experience in Retail Sales, Flooring Sales, Interior Design, Customer Service, or similar role Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Associate or bachelor's degree in communications, business management, interior design, or a similar field a plus Basic computer/social media and math skills a must Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability Strong personal and professional judgment Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers' needs and wants Strong organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority Advanced time management skills and detailed oriented Ability to achieve sales goals effectively Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train) Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train) How to Apply Use the response option in this job board Attach an up-to-date resume outlining your relevant experience for the position A cover letter is always appreciated No emails or phone calls to the showroom Do not personally deliver resumes to the showroom Qualified candidates will be contacted by e-mail to schedule a phone interview Lippert's Carpet One is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
