Experience:
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent; and Five (5) years of increasingly responsible public works, utility maintenance, or private construction experience with three (3) years in an administrative supervisory capacity.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in engineering, public or business administration, or specific area of study as deemed applicable may substitute for two (2) years of experience; or Any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job as those listed above.
Flexible Schedules:
8 hours daily, Monday - Friday Opportunity for alternate schedule after the first 90-days:
9-80 (nine hour work days with a three-day weekend every other week) May be eligible for the following additional pay:
5% for a Department of Environmental Quality Operator Grade IV Certification The anticipated hiring range for the Public Works Operations Manager position is $51.
23 (first step) to $53.
79 or $56.
48 (second or third step).
Directly related experience and qualifications will be evaluated alongside others who perform work of comparable character as required by Pay Equity Law.
Six steps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
