We are looking for the right candidate with critical thinking abilities and excellent customer service skills to work in our small, friendly billing office.
Our Billing team describes the work environment as team oriented, supportive, positive and fun while balanced with the challenging specialty of ambulance billing.

Position Information:
The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company's customers by addressing patient inquiries, resolving patient complaints, patient billing issues or payment processing as it relates to ambulance transports.
Hours:
40 hours/week (non-exempt), Monday - Friday, 8:
00am-5:
00pm Starting Pay rate:
market comparable (Depending on Qualifications) Full benefit package including:

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Interacts with patients via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on billing issues and patient balance questions Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or manager for assistance Maintains customer accounts and records in the patient account customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers' problems and concerns Reviews patient credit balances and initiates refund requests for lead and manager approval Coordinate with Southern Oregon Credit to oversee collections efforts and ensure that valid information and records are being processed Responsible to assist customers with financial hardship questions and applications Sends statements, processes and enters patient payments, and assists Accounts Receivable with balancing.
Qualification Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required One (1) year of Customer Service experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered Ability to read and interpret documents, regulations, instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to effectively communicate information to customers, insurance companies, medical facilities and employees by telephone, in writing and in person Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest and percentages Ability to change from one task to another with ease and flexibility Demonstrates the ability to work independently in a constructive and professional manner; ability to be organized, detail-oriented, problem solve and be a team player Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook and web based applications.
