RVMC'sBehavioral Health Unitis an 18 bed adult mental health unit, with an additional 3 psychiatric beds in the Emergency Dept. The average patient census is 15 and nurse to patient ratios are 4:1.The average patient stay is 5 to 6 days. The Behavioral Health nurses do not float to other units, except for a psych consult for an ED patient.
Education:Associates Degree in Nursing or above.
License/Certification:Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing andBasic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certified by American Heart Association (AHA) are required.
Experience:Must have recent experience in mental health nursing. Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served also required. Related mental health experiencepreferred.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
