The Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day functions of the community inculding hiring, supervising, and directing staff in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as community policies and procedures, that govern assisted living and residential care to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.
The Resident Care Coordinator assures that services in support of all residents are delivered according to policies and procedures. The ideal Resident Care Coordinator candidate must have be a high school graduate or equivalent. Preference given for training and experience in workplace management of other employees and must have the ability to organize and maintain resients records and multi-task.
The following is a representative list of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position:
-- Plan, organize, and direct all resident-care needs for all shifts in accordance with guidelines issued by state regulations and management company policy in collaboration
with the community RN
-- Conduct pre-admission assessment and/or evaluation with prospective residents and assist in determination if admission is appropriate
-- Ensure the individual service plans for each resident is being carried out thoroughly and completely
-- Supervise the Resident Care Assistants and Med Techs to ensure performance against the highest standards
-- Protects the confidentiality of all residents at all times
-- Complete, manage, and review resident records and other resident-related or administrative written documentation in a timely manner
-- Assure accuracy and completion of daily charting, quarterly or semi-annual written summaries and other routine resident-care documentation, as required, to reflect current
status of resident care and condition
-- Assure accurate completion and routine review/updating of physician's orders, medication records, treatment records, and related resident-care chart records
-- Complete cycle fill and physician's order review
-- Coordinate admission, discharge, transfer, death procedures with admissions, pastoral care, social services, dietary and other departments
-- Interview, hire, and schedule all caregiving staff
-- Ensure that an adequate number of appropriately trained personnel are on duty at all times to meet the needs of the residents and state regulations
-- Review and check competence of work force and make necessary adjustments/corrections as required or that may become necessary
-- Counsel/discipline personnel as requested or as may become necessary
-- Contribute to retention of staff by treating employees with respect, advocating for staff when conflicts arise, conducting objective investigations for complaints about staff and
residents on unit, nominating staff for employee-of-the-month awards and using other resources for recognizing exceptional performance
-- Be prepared to provide staffing coverage in the event of staff shortages or outages
-- Coordinate training for all new caregiving staff
-- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the community

You may perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
