Job Details:
TheClinical Managerdirects the day-to-day operations in accordance with Asante's mission and values, to provide high quality health care services. This position ensures economical and efficient department performance, working closely with administrative and clinical staff, physicians, and the community to accomplish goals towards the highest level of care. Areas of responsibility include: human resource management, development of department policies and procedures and financial performance. In this role you will create a culture that fosters staff self-development and continued learning, ensuring the competence of all staff is assessed, maintained, demonstrated and improved continually. You will encourage feedback from internal and external customers, including patients/families, to monitor service effectiveness, identifyopportunities for improvement ofwork processes, and ensure that customer needs are met. Develops an annual operating budget and capital expenditure plan, including a mechanism to monitor plan implementation and outcomes. Assists in maintaining Asante's profitability through innovative and diligent application of sound resource management principles.
Education:Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Nursing preferred.
License / Certification:Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing and Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by American Heart Association required.
Experience:Minimum of three years progressive leadership / supervisory nursing experience required with previous management experience preferred. Must have proficiency with the complete PI cycle, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Must be competent with fiscal management. Must be able to prioritize multiple projects, acting as a positive role model and change agent. Prior successful complex problem solving abilities. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions. Proficiency in computers and related software applications. Ability to communicate and work in an effective manner with all levels of personnel.
